Walk away....

If a difficult problem arises, sometimes the best thing you can do is walk away from it, at least for a few minutes. That’s not to say you should ignore the problem or dismiss your responsibility for it. Rather, it often can be very helpful to give yourself some perspective.
*
The next time a problem comes along, walk away from it -- literally. Take a walk. Get out of the environment where the problem occurred and remind yourself that there is a whole, big world out there.
*
When you return, the problem will still be there, but your panic reaction will be gone. With a fresh perspective, plus a little fresh air and exercise, you’ll be better equipped to turn that problem into a new opportunity.
