Rachel Dolezal on being black: 'I didn’t mislead anybody'

I am sure you are familiar with the recent controversy about Rachel Dolezal, who lived her life as an African-American woman and even became one of the leaders of the N.A.A.C.P branches. She recently got outed by her parents saying that she was born caucasian and she is not black.  Check out her recent Interview on Vanityfair.com where she still refuses to back down or acknowledge that she has done anything wrong.  She explains, “It’s not a costume, I don’t know spiritually and metaphysically how this goes, but I do know that from my earliest memories I have awareness and connection with the black experience, and that’s never left me."  Read more on Vanityfair.com.
