Spanish Artist and Illustrator Daniel Muñoz aka SAN recently painted this haunting mural titled 983 Followers in an abandoned building on the countryside of Scotland. His work usually embodies powerful messages related to current issues of society and human behavior as referenced in this mural. It covers three walls and portrays the images of a large number of men (983?) gathered along the wall in such way that they give the impression to be waiting for us, the viewer, to speak/comment, relative to today's social media spectrum. Does the trash in the middle signify hate, nasty comments? Unfortunately I can only speculate about the meaning of this mural, but one thing is sure, it certainly has me thinking... which is what I like about his work.
