Amidst the recent sexual allegations against Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein (see here: New York Times), more and more women are speaking up about the sexual misconduct in the fashion/film Industry. I came across this article at PopSugar and decided to share. Ladies, please continue to expose these pigs. Remember it is NEVER your fault. There is no job important enough for you to endure such gross acts. Your self dignity comes first. No matter the situation what's meant for you will be for you. Even if you don't think anyone will believe you, trust me, the truth always comes out at some point. This also goes to the fellas as I think there is a double standard in society when it comes to men being sexually abused. Do speak up and take a stand! Model Cameron Russell incited this discussion by sharing a fellow models story on her official Instagram page about being sexually violated at 15, and encouraged her followers to share their stories using the hashtag #MyJobShouldNotIncludeAbuse.
