Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant collaborated with Nike to design this line in honor of his aunt who recently died of cancer. The pink floral motif is inspired by his aunts favorite robe. Proceeds from the line would benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, a non profit which supports cancer research.
According to Kevin, “I made a promise to myself to always honor my Aunt Pearl for the example she set, and the encouragement she gave me to follow my dreams”.
The sneaker is set to be released on February 27, available on nike.com or any authorized dealers. Price would range between $130 and $180.
