Louis Vuitton would be collaborating with six big names in the Industry to celebrate the brands 160th anniversary. Designers Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Newson, Christian Louboutin, and Rei Kawakubo, as well as Architect Frank Gehry and Photographer Cindy Sherman, will provide their take on the signature LV logo.
The limited-edition collection of bags and luggage would be called 'The Icon and the Iconoclasts,' available this fall (mid October). Retail is estimated to be from $2,725 to $5,450.. Start saving, lol.
According to Vuitton executive vice president Delphine Arnault, “We have assembled an amazing group of talents—geniuses, I would say. Each one is among the best in his or her field. The monogram is at the center of our house, so we celebrate the monogram every day. But we thought this project was really special because the personalities we chose are fascinating and diverse.”
