A key trend for Fall 14 is tribal prints and emerging Designer Stella Jean has become a 'trailblazer' in establishing her designs using these exotic fabrics known as 'ankara' in West Africa.
She made her debut at Milan Fashion Week in Fall 2012 where she created a name for herself featuring a collection solely on contemporary designs with bold tribal African prints.
As one of the winners of the prestigious Vogue Italia talent contest ‘Who Is On Next’ in 2011, the Haitian-Italian designer and former model says that her cultural identity often provides inspiration for her emerging label. She has shown both mens & womens collections these past seasons.
