Apple & Samsung were recently accused of using cobalt for the production of cellphones and laptops from the largest worlds supplier of this mineral, Congo, in Central Africa, ignoring the fact that their suppliers were acquiring these minerals from mines that rely heavily on child labour, according to Amnesty International.
