Fashion House Chloé, has been in existence since 1953 in Paris with a vision of offering comfortable luxury 'prêt-à-porter' (Ready-To-Wear), a new concept at that time; creating high end less formal ready-to-wear fashions. Chloe's creator Gabrielle Aghion died last year at 93. Over the years Designers such as Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney, have played a pivotal role in sustaining the vision of the Brand. Today, the label is helmed by London native Clare Waight Keller as the Creative Director for the past four years. Waight Keller’s success stems from her deep appreciation of what makes the Chloé brand resonate with its buyers, saying, “I love the fact that [Chloé] was started by a woman, and I love the fact that it speaks to women, it’s not a conceptual brand. It’s much more sensitive. It’s intuitive to women.”
