One of the oldest french fashion houses still in operation in Paris, Lanvin is a historical fashion couturière founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889. Inspired by her only daughter she started with children's clothing in 1907 and the rest has been history. Jeanne Lanvin's skillful use of intricate trimmings, embroideries and beaded decorations in clear, light, floral colors became a Lanvin trademark.
The Brand celebrated it's 125th anniversary last year and to help mark the achievement during Paris Fashion Week, editors were invited to view the office of Jeanne Lanvin, which sits right above the company's Rue du Faubourg St Honoré store in Paris.
Over the years a host of Designers have continued the legacy and in 2002 Alber Elbaz was introduced as the new Creative Director. Check out my fav's from his Fall 15 collection.
