Vionnet Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear #PFW

I get excited during Paris fashion week because you get to see the influence of true haute couture houses in the collections.  Designs are often very innovative, they push the limits, never a dull moment because there is a lot of pressure on the modern Designers to maintain the legacy of these legendary fashion houses.
Vionnet, a haute couture label was founded in Paris by the legendary French couturier Madeleine Vionnet in 1912. The house of Vionnet formally closed in 1939 after she retired and  reopened in 2006.  Named the "Queen of bias cuts" and "the architect among dressmakers", Vionnet's legacy continues on as the brand is best known today for it's elegant Grecian-style dresses and popularizing the bias cut within the fashion world inspiring a number of recent designers.  New creative Director Goga Ashkenazi and her team did there best to continue the legacy in their Fall 15 collection showcasing a fluid collection of Grecian dress's with rich lux fabrics such as silks in sorbet colors, hooded capes & dress's, pleated leather dress's & skirts, Reds, these are my fav's.
