Vogue has selected Rihanna as the face of their Met Gala Special Edition 2015 issue for the second time. She shared the spotlight with Beyoncé for last years issue, see below, but this year the singer took to Instagram to share the exciting news. She shared the below images captioning, ” WOW!!! I am very honored to have this image selected for the new cover of @Voguemagazine!! #metgala2015 #art #fashion #Vogue.”
The ornate gown was made by Chinese Designer Guo Pei. In an Interview with Vanity Fair, Rihanna shares how she came across the Designer. She says, “It’s handmade by one Chinese woman and it took her two years to make. I found it online. I was researching Chinese couture on the Internet and I found it.”
