London based Designer Tait won the inaugural LVMH Prize for designers under 40 last May 2014, which included a cash prize of $340K as well as 12 months of professional mentoring and support from the luxury conglomerate (The selection panel included fashion heavyweights such as Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs and Phoebe Philo). In an interview with CNN, he describes the 'DNA' of his brand as, "A wearer's interaction is very much a building block for the DNA of the brand. I think it is very much a woman's brand in that way."
