BALENCIAGA PRE FALL 2016

This is Demna Gvasalia's (pronounced DEEM-nah vas-AH-liyah) first collection with Balenciaga since the departure of Alexander Wang last fall. Gvasalia is one of the founders of the much-buzzed-about indie labels Vetements,  synonymous with rigorous technique and architectural shapes of Balenziaga.  “My intention is not to make clothes that are completely new, or to be in a museum — as long as something is practical and somebody needs it in her wardrobe, then it makes sense to me,” Gvasalia said.  Check out my fav's from the collection.
