Known for his elusiveness, working overnight when no one is looking and never seeking permission, legendary British Street Artist Bansky is finally getting the respect and appreciation for his controversial murals. His work sells for millions, however there is still a mystery about what exactly he looks like. It was no surprise when students walked into a primary school in Bristol, England last week, to find a 14ft mural with the signature Bansky flair on the side of the building dedicated to him.
"We just like the fact that we have a Banksy [painting] in the school,” principal Geoff Mason told the BBC. I think you have to interpret art how you interpret art, so the symbolism in it, I guess, is for other people to work out."
Along with the mural was a note thanking the school for the honor, and a final word of advice: "It's always easier to get forgiveness than permission. Much love, Banksy."
He is super cool:-) Luv him!
