Fav's - Gucci’s Spring 2021 Ready-to-wear

Gucci’s Spring 2021 Ready-to-wear collection launched last week featuring an online fashion show & 7-day virtual film festival dubbed ‘Guccifest’ (11/16 - 11/22/). The mini-series “Ouverture (French word for opening, debut) of Something That Never Ended” was directed by Gucci’s creative Director Alessandro Michele & film director Gus Van Sant (Director of TV Shows such as Portlanda, Wanderlust, to name a few...). The series follow Italian Performer/Activist Silvia Calderoni's stylish day-to-day activities in scenic Rome, interacting with stylish friends such as Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Florence Welch and others...

The film is brilliantly done exploring gender and androgyny, fashion, as well as Home decor... the vintage-like apartment décor is Gorg! Wonder if most of the home décor featured is part of the brand's... actually found myself more interested in the décor and scenery than the apparel:-). I am just going through a 'I wish I can renovate' phase😀. The apparel is amazing by the way, the black sheer lace jumpsuit in episode 1 is 'life'💥, as well as a lot more bangers in the rest of the episodes! This film is a genius marketing tool because it is actually refreshing to see the items from the collection applied to every day life. Gives another perspective on ideas to rock an outfit rather than just a runway look option. Found myself actually 'shopping' mentally (lol) a lot more from scenes in the film rather than the runway looks.

And.. may I add after this Pandemic a vacation to Rome is long overdue!
