Great Find - My Jacket for the season - BERNARDO Long Parka with Faux Fur Hood Trim

So my initial thought this winter was to splurge on a great fun & comfy Puffer jacket(P.S. I have a thing for puffers😍)… and I found one, omg💕.  It is by French luxury fashion brand Moncler, the 'Heliotrope long puffer coat'.  This jacket is gorg!  I own so many puffers and as a native New Yorker, a Moncler puffer is just on another level, lol.  Retail is at $2,400, arghhhh!  Had to take a step back and really evaluate my finances (still recovering from the pandemic), so I did not purchase😞.  Really bummed but, such is life, lol.  Well, if you do own it or purchase do leave a comment on the quality and fit.  See images below.  I settled for another brand instead waayyy cheaper and I ended up luving!  See below.

I just received this jacket from Nordstrom online and I absolutely luv!  Worth every penny, it is actually a great price for the quality.  I have never really heard of the brand 'Bernardo'.  Did a little research and they are an American based outwear company and have been in business for 40 years, wow!  This winter I wanted a puffer jacket that is a little different and fun. A jacket I can wear on a night out or casually that is most importantly warm.

It was in the 40's today in NY so I wore my jacket out today, and I luvvvvv😍. Jacket is retailed at $189. Ohhh, dammit!  Just seeing this, jacket is marked down at Lord & Taylor online for only $149 if you are interested.
