I don't know how I feel about this trend, it definitely seems suited for a specific taste. I get that the symbolism of two different gemstones or
diamond shapes set side-by-side negates to ‘two souls becoming one.' Guess I am
a bit traditional, the mismatched look does not scream 'classic' to me.
It
looks like a fun party ring, less personal. I would also be concerned about the
setting-stone security, fit looks bulky (depending on the size of the stone I
guess), snagging (the prongs), and possible resizing issues in the future.
Also, as a reseller, would this be profitable once the trend
dies down? I know... I get that this is a far cry from traditional
engagement rings which I do admit designs needed a boost. I appreciate
the uniqueness of it but I guess I am more of a bang for ur buck kinda gal,
lol. See some designs below, Ya like?
