I am Baaacckkkk! My Fav's - Schiaparelli - Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2025-2026

Heyyyy Guys, it’s been a while… Thanks for all of your love & support, truly appreciated💖. Feels good to be back, right on time for ‘Haute Couture’ Fall/Winter 2025-2026 season in Paris, started today July 7
th to July 10th, 2025.  Cannot wait to see what these ‘Bourjois’ fashion houses have for us this season.  A quick refresher for what this show is all about and what differentiates it from other Runway shows.

The term ‘Haute Couture’ is legally protected in France and represents the highest level of craftsmanship in the fashion industry. To be considered a true 'Haute Couture' house, a fashion label must be approved by the Chambre Syndicale de la HauteCouture, part of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode.

Design DNA: must be custom-made, handcrafted (most work done by hand, including embroidery, embellishments, and finishing), Luxury fabric (finest, rare), Exclusive Designs (one-of-a-kind, limited quantities).  Haute Couture Houses: Chanel, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Valentino....

Quick comparison: Haute Couture vs. Ready-to-Wear (Prêt-à-Porter)
  • Haute Couture: Custom, handmade, extremely expensive, and exclusive.
  • Ready-to-Wear: Mass-produced in standard sizes, less expensive, more accessible.
Hope you get the drift!  Opening the show this season is Schiaparelli, 30 looks from current creative director Daniel Roseberry, American designer, known for bringing theatrical, sculptural designs to the red carpet and couture runways. Below are my fav's,  looks are very 20th century Victorian.  Pay close attention to the construction...

👏 Regal!  Only look that screams 'Haute Couture' in my opinion
