Louis Vuitton has officially stepped into the luxury beauty world with 'La Beauté Louis Vuitton,' its first-ever makeup line created under the vision of legendary
makeup artist, Pat McGrath. The collections stand out feature amongst others, is the refillable trunk-inspired packaging. Makeup comes in luxury cases that look like mini Louis Vuitton trunks, instead of tossing them when the product is finished, you can just buy a refill. Packaging is designed by the iconic Industrial engineer Konstantin Grcic. Collection is described as more than just makeup, each piece is designed as a collectible heirloom, blending heritage craftsmanship, artistry, and modern accessibility. Expect 55 luxe lipstick shades at $160, 10 lip balms $160, 8 refillable eyeshadow palettes for $250, and $93 for refills. Drop date is August 29th, 2025 at official LV stores worldwide and online.
Pat McGrath, dubbed the 'Mother of Makeup' has shaped global
beauty trends for over 30 years, crafting iconic looks for Prada, Dior,
Versace, and countless runway shows. In 2015, she launched her own powerhouse
brand, Pat McGrath Labs, loved for its bold pigments and innovation. In
2021, she made history as the first makeup artist ever knighted a Dame
by Queen Elizabeth II. In an Interview with Vogue, she describes this collab as; “the absolute highest level of craftsmanship. With product development, I have always been obsessed with the smallest of details and the perfection needed in product texture… the precise application methods, just the right amount of pigment pay-off, and how products should make you feel.” Now, she’s rewriting the rules once again as Louis Vuitton’s Creative
Director of Cosmetics, leading the brand into an exciting new era of luxury
beauty.
