Carolina Herrera Spring/Summer 2026 RTW: A Spanish Love Story in Full Bloom

Talk about setting the standard! When the legendary fashion houses show, they remind us what true runway magic looks like. My best show by far. The iconic Carolina Herrera’s Spring/Summer 2026 Ready-to-Wear collection is a true love letter to Madrid. Creative director Wes Gordon presented the brand’s first main collection outside of New York in the historic Plaza Mayor, in Madid, Spain, transforming the iconic square into a sweeping runway bathed in signature Herrera Glam.

This season, Gordon fused Spanish heritage with modern elegance. Signature black ball gowns opened the show, followed by Meninas-inspired skirts, sculpted corseted tops, and playful cropped toreador pants that brought a sense of movement and drama. Herrera’s iconic florals were reimagined with roses, carnations, and violets blooming across the collection, appearing as bold prints, delicate embroidery, and even striking 3D embellishments. With 78 looks, this show was more than a runway presentation, it was a cultural moment and a bold statement that under Wes Gordon’s direction, Carolina Herrera continues to deliver elegance with a modern edge, unafraid to take risks on the global stage. Lot's of red carpet looks as always. These are my fav's. See iconic fashion show below.

P.S. Carolina Herrera, the designer herself, is celebrated for her timeless sophistication and impeccable personal style. She launched her namesake label in 1981 in New York and quickly became a favorite of First Ladies, celebrities, and women seeking polished, elegant looks. Today, Wes Gordon carries forward her legacy while infusing the brand with a fresh, fashion-forward sensibility. In 2018, Wes Gordon succeeded Carolina Herrera as the creative director of her namesake brand.
