Versace’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection opened a bold new chapter under creative director Dario Vitale, blending the house’s signature glamour and rebellious spirit with a softer, more personal touch. Founded in 1978 by Gianni Versace, the house quickly became synonymous with bold prints, sensual silhouettes, and unapologetic glamour. After Gianni’s passing in 1997, his sister Donatella Versace carried that legacy for nearly three decades, solidifying the brand’s place as a global symbol of flashy luxury.
In April 2025, Dario Vitale formerly design and Creative director at Miu Miu took over as Chief Creative Officer, with Donatella stepping into the role of Chief Brand Ambassador. His Spring/Summer 2026 debut transformed Milan’s Pinacoteca Ambrosiana (oldest museum in Milan), into an intimate, immersive runway, where 80's vibe power-shoulder jackets, muscle shirts, relaxed tailoring, lots of leather (plain, textured), delivered Versace’s signature edge with a softer, more wearable twist. Vibrant color clashes and fearless print combinations kept the energy high. Vitale’s debut shows Versace is still daring, even if the famous baroque patterns were dialed down, the spirit remains. 75 pcs, check out my fav's.
