Milan Fashion week - Moschino Spring/Summer 2026 RTW: Adrian Appiolaza’s Whimsical Reinvention

Moschino’s Spring 2026 collection, under the fresh creative direction of Adrian Appiolaza, brought a more demure playful innovation and thoughtful flair to the runway. Founded in 1983 by Franco Moschino, the brand has always been known for its bold, iconic designs and fashion statements, a legacy continued by Appiolaza, who previously worked at Loewe, Chloé, and Alexander McQueen. Titled “Niente” (Italian for “nothing”), the collection carried a balanced wit, creativity, and social awareness, proving that fashion can be both fun and meaningful.

I am a big fan of Jeremy Scott’s bold vision and definitely miss his presence at Moschino, but Adrian Appiolaza brings his own playful energy to the brand while honoring its fun legacy. Since stepping in as creative director in January 2024, he’s filled some big shoes and so far, he’s doing a fantastic job bringing a more serious playful vibe to the brand. 52 looks, check out my fav's.
