Stella Jean, the Haitian-Italian designer behind her eponymous label, is known for blending sharp Italian tailoring with vibrant global influences. Since launching her brand in 2011, she has become a powerful advocate for diversity and artisan partnerships, working with craftsmen around the world through her initiative Laboratorio delle Nazioni (Laboratory of Nations; her mission-driven platform that partners with women artisans in vulnerable communities around the world).
Her work is equal parts fashion and cultural diplomacy, giving a platform to traditional techniques that might otherwise disappear. After a 3 year break from the runway, Jean’s SS 2026 RTW collection in Milan was a triumphant return and a deeply meaningful one. Collaborating with Bhutanese artisans, she showcased handwoven tego jackets, embroidered skirts made from nettle fiber, and even wore a traditional kira dress herself during the show.
Stella Jean offers luxury with integrity, clothes that look incredible, supports global communities, and connect style to a bigger purpose. Small intimate collection, 25 pcs, check out my fav's.
