Luv seeing more collabs from Gap! I think this move will enhance the brand and align it with updated trends and culture. Founded in 1969 in San Francisco, Gap is known for its timeless American casualwear and iconic denim, embodying effortless, everyday style. This limited-edition collab with designer Sandy Liang blends Gap’s classic American vibe with Liang’s signature nostalgic, feminine twist.
The Gap x Sandy Liang collection features wardrobe staples such as denim, hoodies, trenches, and polos with playful details; think bows, faux-fur trims, and soft pastels. “I wanted to take the pieces that meant something to me as a kid and reimagine them through my lens today, celebrating girlhood in all its forms, while honoring the iconic styles that make Gap so timeless,” Liang said in a press release. For Sandy Liang, it’s a full-circle moment as she grew up wearing Gap and now brings her whimsical, downtown sensibility to the brand’s heritage. For Gap, it’s a smart, stylish refresh connecting its timeless vibe with a new generation of fashion fans.
Curious to see more of these Gap collabs in the future. I am not familiar with Sandy Liang's designs, however after checking out her collections, cute vibes! Still, a bit unexpected as a Gap partner. Maybe it’s a bit of a “quid pro quo” situation... Either way, I’m not mad about it , the trench (see below) I wanted is already sold out (ugh!) but restocking soon, which is good news. Launching October 10th, 2025, the collection is priced between $15 and $268, kids and womens, xxs to xl, available on Gap.com and at select Gap stores worldwide. A few fav's below, selling out fast!
