Loewe Spring/Summer 2026 RTW: Effortless Sporty Elegance with McCollough & Hernandez | Paris Fashion Week
The iconic fashion house Loewe started as a Spanish leather
workshop in 1846 and has since evolved into a global luxury fashion house celebrated
for its craftsmanship, innovation, and artistic collaborations. Earlier this
year, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, co-founders of Proenza Schouler,
took the helm as creative directors, succeeding Jonathan Anderson (now at Dior). Their leadership brings a modern twist to
Loewe, pairing Spanish craftsmanship with innovative, playful designs.
For Spring 2026, they presented a
collection that was both vibrant and tactile, reflecting their vision for a
modern, urban confident woman. The runway featured bold color-blocked minis,
windbreakers, and textured trench coats, all crafted with meticulous attention
to detail. Materials ranged from glossy scuba-leathers to plush terry cloth,
offering a fresh take on Loewe's artisanal roots.
Accessories played a pivotal role, with standout pieces like lacquered clam-shell bags, neoprene totes in bold hues, and kitten-heeled shoes with contrasting knit sock inserts. These designs not only showcased the duo's innovative approach but also paid homage to Loewe's legacy of craftsmanship. The Spring 2026 collection signaled a dynamic shift for Loewe, embracing a sporty-chic aesthetic while staying true to its artisanal heritage. 55 looks, these are my fav's.
