There’s always intention behind a Prabal Gurung show and at New York Fashion Week Fall 2026 RTW, that intention felt sharper, more personal, and beautifully self-assured. Gurung has long balanced glamour with meaning, and this season was no exception. The collection felt emotional yet controlled, powerful yet undeniably feminine. Founded in 2009, Gurung’s namesake label quickly became synonymous with modern elegance, vibrant color, and designs that celebrate individuality and inclusivity. His work consistently honors strength, heritage, and the multidimensional woman, across cultures, backgrounds, and identities.
Fall 2026 RTW felt like a continuation of that narrative. Sculpted tailoring met fluid draping, creating silhouettes that moved with confidence and grace. Sharply cut blazers, structured outerwear were balanced by soft silk gowns and romantic layers. The textures carried depth, rich wool, sleek satin, delicate embellishments, and subtle metallic finishes that caught the light without overpowering the look. One standout moment was a breathtaking pink satin gown styled with coordinating headgear, a powerful nod to modest fashion and cultural inclusivity. It felt regal, intentional, and beautifully aligned with Gurung’s message that glamour belongs to every woman, on her own terms. 39 looks, and these are my fav’s.
