From Shaq to Angel Reese: Reebok’s Next Chapter in Basketball Sneakers

Just finished the the new Netflix documentary on retired basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal , spotlighting his journey from being Reebok’s first brand ambassador in the ’90s to now serving as the company's President (impressive right!), it feels especially timely to see the brand’s next big move. The documentary is titled Power Moves with Shaquille O’Neal on Netflix, and it features NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson (another brand ambassador in the 90's, a controversial one, lol), in now Executive roles as they lead Reebok’s 'comeback' in the competitive Sportwear marketplace. One of the methods highlighted was to identify rising Athletes to represent the brand and WNBA star Angel Reese happened to be one amongst others.
